Floral Design Process for Weddings & Events

Contact - to first check if your date is open - then set up a consultation to discuss your unique vision and needs, floral and decor requirements; email: jan@bouquetgarden.com or call 931.627/1052 to make an appointment. 

The Process - Jan will meet with you for an hour of get-to-know you time and learn everything about your style, personality, favorite colors and flowers, planned bridal party, attire, etc... during the first meeting.  At the end of our meeting (a $200. deposit of which $100.00 is non-refundable) is required before further discussion, design-time and custom tailored options are entertained.  Sixty days after the initial meeting a 50% deposit on your flowers total is required.  Thirty days prior to your wedding day the remaining balance is due.  This frees you from stress and tiresome business issues on your wedding day and also frees Jan to concentrate on your beautiful wedding flowers.

Please have ready the following information and specifics available for your consultation:

For Weddings - Magazines and photographs of flowers and style pictures you are drawn to or a good description of your personal style and any favorite flowers, colors, etc. are all helpful in getting to know you and zoning in on your dream floral vision.  If you do not have time to gather tear-sheets and photographs - the verbal description of the things you are drawn to will work just fine.

With To Help With Your Planning - Today's brides calculate 10% to15% of their total wedding budget on wedding flowers.  US wedding averages are currently running at $28,000. - with $2,800. to $4,200. budgeted for flowers.  If you are planning a smaller wedding or have a tighter budget; Jan will work with you to achieve the overall floral vision you've been dreaming of without breaking your budget (note: wedding flowers suggested starting point is $1,250.).  For brides planning a just-the-two-of-you get away wedding - simple and beautiful, contemporary hand-tied rose bouquets and coordinating boutonnieres are available starting at $125.00  (depending on your wedding ceremony location - a standard delivery/mileage fee may apply).

For Events - Specifics concerning your occasion and preferences, corporate colors, etc. that you plan on having incorporated in your floral guest table centerpieces + quantity needed and list of other desired elements - ie. enhanced entry decor, entry table design, door wreaths, etc. will be required to

bouquet garden TM - is a Working Design Studio.  All local consultations are scheduled at a convenient nearby restaurant or preferably at your chosen venue location (if previously selected).

 

Weddings and Events are booked from 9 months up to 1 years in advance of your wedding date.

Smaller Weddings and Events may be booked at 3 to 6 months in advance - dependent on remaining dates open.

Later bookings are rare - however a  later booking may be arranged (depending on time available).

bouquet garden no longer ships silk/permanent botanical wedding flowers to your door.

Large scale or otherwise interesting floral projects inquiries are welcome.
